  1. One of my stocks that is doing well is IMAX. The reason behind this is because the just recently added three new IMAX theaters. Adding these theaters will add more profit.

I do not think you should be able to do this because it is basically stalking somebody. I think you already know too much information bout everyone why do you need to know what they searched.

  2. 1) Wal-Mart is assisting its associates in paying for higher education like college. In the past three years, Wal-Mart has given out 50 million dollars in funds in the funds of tuition services.

    2) I think that this is a little shady. facebook already reveals enough information about friends, and strangers. This in unnecessary because friends should not have to resort to technology to learn about their friends.

  3. i dont think that the bing and facebook idea is a good idea. i think that it will increase what people will know about you, and your real friends know what they need to know about you. facebook already reveals enough about people, there is no need for anyone to know more.

target and walmart are competing. target's shares have dropped 17% this year and walmart has gained 2.3%.

1.)Mine was on Walmart and how they are trying to come up on top over their competitors. They are granting their employs money for college; they gave out 50 million dollars in three years. It shows compassion compared to other companies.

2.) I personally think that this is extremely creepy. By facebook we already know as much as we need to know about our friends. I think it would be annoying and to much.

  5. the article about Facebook and Bing is basically just saying that there is going to be a way to share everything you look at on your computer with your friends on Facebook, for example if i wanted to check out what my friends are watching on youtube while they are on Facebook i can do that just by looking at their profile. i think this is a bad idea just for privacy purposes.

Boeing is now in competition with another company called Airbus, Airbus has been trying to sell their products to buyers of Boeing for a much cheaper price, but boeing has government contracts with these companies witch is going to force them to buy from Boeing and only allow limited business with Airbus.

  6. I don't like the ideas of Bing and Facebook, because i dont see why your facebook friends need to see what you search, and no what you are doing. I seems to be pointless and who really cares what you are searching, also why would someone want or need there help trying to find something they need but cant find. This whole idea seems like a waste of time and i dont really see that many benefits to it.

The company I am choosing is Open Table, and there main competitor is google. However, google is not a very strong competitor right now and Open pretty much has control of all the online reservation industry as of right now. Economists predict that in the future google will tap into this industry, and online reservation will be one of the new biggest things. And finally some diners, restaurant, and eateries will pay large amounts of money to be shown on the web, where customers are able to make a reservation right then and there.

  7. Hot Topic’s close competitor, Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE: ANF - News), registered earnings of 27 cents a share in the first quarter of fiscal 2011, considerably ahead of the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 11 cents a share and beating substantially the prior-year net loss of 13 cents per share.

I don't think this should be aloud, people need there privacy. And with this new searching abilities, people don't have it.

  8. 1. Apple is responding to Google Music and Amazon's Cloud Drive. Although it is third compared to these companies, Apple is recently quickly signing record labels. By adding music licenses to iphones, Apple will remain King as Online Music. Both Google and Amazon will strive to improve their efforts, and consumers will benefit from some healthy competition between the three.

    2. I believe that facebook is already too much personal information revealed to the public. Going anything beyond that is slightly stalkerish and it is not needed. If you want to stay in touch with your friends then you could easily privately e-mail them or call them.

  9. Dean foods is a stock of mine that is doing well. Dean foods is doing well because they ensure the quality of their packaged foods while maintaining good taste.

In my opinion, the bing and google scenario over facebook is stupid. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense and it just seems incredibly useless.

  10. 1. One of my stocks that is doing well is Kraft. An article I found was about how Kraft has released a new Chips ahoy cookie brand. Releasing a new product can bring in more profit.

    2. I think that the bing and facebook idea is a bad idea. It puts even more information out for people to know about you. Being able to see what your friends are searching online is creepy.

  11. I do not think it is necessary for others to see what your doing or what you like. i feel that others do not need to know what you searched.

Under Armor is doing better than Nike a the moment. they have some new material and technology that is making their sales increase.

  12. 1) There are currently signs that Nike will be losing a step on its competitors. With other brands such as Under Armor and K-Swiss making deals, Nike may begin to fall behind if they don't start to make any deals because the other companies will catch up to them.

    2) I do not agree with making it possible to see where your Facebook friends live. I honestly think that is extremely creepy. Its already creepy with how much information is out there for people to see, why take it one step further to finding their actual house? Although I don't agree with this, it would be interesting to see how it would work and all.

  13. One of Express' competitors is Macys. I read an article that said Macy's investment grades rose for paying 334$ million dollars to get out of debt. Macy's share rose 1.1 % on top of a 2.8% gain during the regular season. Macy's says that the upgrade reflects the improvement of their business.

I don't really like that you can see what your friends searched. That's really creepy and weird. Facebook already shares so much information, better yet too much information about people. I think it's getting a little personal. I don't like the idea at all

  14. In a race of the ratings; CBS, NBC, and ABC are battling out in their fall previews. NBC, now owned by Comcast, is leading the competition with an array of new and returning programs.

It is not a good idea because my GOOG stock is low enough.

  15. One of my stocks that is doing well is Mc Donalds. This is currently because they are trying to redo all the stores in america.

I think that that this new Bing is not a very good idea this is because it's invading people's privacy stalking someone can occur more now. I don't think you need to know anymore information about someone, then you already know

  16. I don't really like the idea of this new Bing thing, i think its getting a little to open with your life and gives a little to much of your personal life out to strangers.

one of my stocks is google. they are competing with apple because apple is trying everything in their will to take google music out of the picture. the company is given more time to learn from the mistakes of it

  17. 1) Lowe's and Home Depot are close competitors. Lowe's is gaining more profit by boosting part-time weekend hours, offering promotions and giving discounts for customers using a Lowe's credit card.

    2) I don't think it is really necessary for facebook and bing to combine...I mean, facebook already displays a lot of information about someone. I don't think it should display anything more.

  18. 1) Kohls is doing well and Sears posted a negative comp for their last quarterly making kohls, a competetor who posted a positive comp stock's rise.

    2) I think that the new technology for Facebook is weird and creepy. Facebook already reveals enough about people. The new technology will make it much easier for people to stalk some one online.

  19. McDonalds' stocks have been increasing because of new plans to improve and redesign current and new locations. The new design will attract more customers, making them chose McDonalds over it's competitors.

I do not agree with bing. I don't like how people can see all of your actions If someone wants to know something about you, they should have to ask, leaving it up to you to answer or not.

  20. Lebron James has yet to win a NBA championship, but it is projected that if he does it will bring the Nike corporation $4 billion in revenue. People in China love Lebron; if he can win the NBA crown the he would take over as the face of Nike in China. Kobe currently is the face of the Nike brand, but in China Lebron's influence is much greater. This shows competition within the company, and now will give Lebron more of a reason to win the NBA finals. He will get more money off his endorsement, and will finally have a ring on his finger.

i think its a bad idea. People already stalk other users on facebook. Now google is making it a lot easier for people to find out where you live, what you look like, and many other things that people put on your facebook. This idea is some what scary to most parents, i would assume. Any parent is going to be scared what their child is doing , now that anything they do can potentially end up al over the internet.

  21. 1. Abercrombie and Fitch is doing really good against their competitors. One of the main reasons for this is because of their strong sales overseas. Although they are doing so good, many retailers must cope with cotton prices, forcing them to raise retail prices and give fewer discounts.

    2. I could care less about this happening but i definetly think people already know enough about eachother from facebook. I think people creep hard enough on facebook and this is just making it worse.

  22. Nike is one of my stocks that is doing pretty well because it is up 3.45% and its competitor Adidas is only up .27%

I dont think it is a good idea to involve Bing because Facebook already has many ways to reveal info about people. Sometimes people need a little privacy and i just think Bing is a too much

  23. - One of my stocks that is doing good is Netflix. It is at $243 a share. One of its big competitors is Blockbuster. It has been around more so more people recognize it. Netflix is steadily increasing and doing better due to their cheaper prices and because it is easier to rent Netflix

    - By revealing all of this information to bing it may be bad. Companies are just trying to get a higher profit, but that shouldn't mean that they should be able to see my personal information.

  24. I feel that the whole bing thing is a bit much. I really don't care that much what my friends are doing on the internet. Its pretty weird. With all the stuff out there you have to sort through to find what you want on the internet the last thing i want to sort through is what my friends have been up too.

I have some Ford stocks and they are doing good because GM is doing bad. GM has factories in japan that got destroyed during the earthquake. This is great news for Ford

  25. I think the new bing facebook conection is directed more at an older crowd. And bing isnt even popular enough to take off. the services arent good enough to make people switch from google to bing.

The article states that Apple plans to team up with sony music corporation to prepare its for when google and amazon come out with cloud music purchasing. They could have an agreement as early as next week to start a new cloud music purchasing system.
